VELL APPAM

INGREDIENTS:
RICE                                         500GM
COCONUT                                2 CUPS  (GRATED)
 SODA POWDER                     1TSP  (APPA KARAM)
YEAST                                     1 TSP
COOKED  RICE                       ½ CUP
SALT                                       to taste
METHOD:
v    SOAK THE RICE IN THE WATER FOR ½ AN HOUR.
v    GRIND THE RICE  WITH COCONUT,  COOKED RICE   AND  SALT  TO A FINE PASTE.
v    PUT YEAST IN WARM  WATER WITH 1 TSP SUGAR  FOR FEMENTATION.
v    ADD YEAST  TO THE MIXTURE.  
v   ADD    3TSP SUGAR  AND STIR WELL. KEEP IT FOR ONE NIGHT.
v    IN THE  EARLY  MORNING ADD SODA POWDER  TO THE MIXTURE  AND    STIR WELL .
v    NOW YOU CAN MAKE TASTY APPAMS
